Therapy rarely moves in a straight line. You might leave an intake with more questions than answers, wait three weeks for a medical aid authorisation, or realise the approach on offer does not match what you need. That is normal, and it is easier to handle when someone tells you what usually happens next.
Leave your email and we will send occasional notes from the ThinkGroup editorial desk: new reviews from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria, plain-language explainers on referrals and claims, and updates when practitioners respond to feedback on their listings. No daily mail, no sales pitch. Just the practical side of finding and staying with the right therapist.
One or two emails a month. Unsubscribe whenever you like, and we will not pass your address to any practice or third party.
Care questions rarely arrive at a convenient hour. If you are unsure whether to book an intake, how a GP referral works, or how to move from one practitioner to another, write to us and a person reads it. We do not run an automated queue, and we do not pass your message to a call centre.
Best for detailed questions about registration, medical aid claims or a listing you want to correct. Attach screenshots if a review looks off.

Email is answered within two working days. If your message concerns a review you have already submitted, allow a little longer while we check the listing with the practice. Phone calls are picked up during office hours; anything left after 16:00 is returned the next working morning.
We do not offer crisis support. If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, contact your nearest emergency unit or a local crisis line rather than waiting on a reply from us.
Most questions we get are already answered in the help section: how to claim a listing, what a structured review asks for, and how we handle a disputed account of a session. Reading that first usually saves a round trip.
Still stuck? Help and FAQ, or send the details straight to Contact.
If you are unsure whether to book an intake, ask about a referral, or check whether your medical aid covers the session, the practice line is the fastest route. Someone answers during office hours and can tell you which practitioner has evening or weekend space.
